A Day of Rest: Slowing Down

In August, I’m participating in BlogHer’s Blogging Challenge.  The theme this month is: Hot.

I

 t’s Sunday and that means a day of rest here at La Belle.

One day out of seven where I have nothing planned but to enjoy God and His beautiful masterpieces, ~ which includes kicking off my shoes in the grass, waking up without an alarm, and spending quality time in intimate conversation with dear friends.

A day for pancakes (gluten-free of course), champagne punch, and fresh picked blackberries (organic).

Here’s to slowing down and letting life wash over us.
