You need three things to become a successful novelist: talent,
luck and discipline.
Discipline is the one element of those three things that you can control, and so that is the one that you have to focus on controlling, and you just have to hope and trust in the other two.

alent. Elizabeth Hunter’s cup runneth over with it.
She must have a
healthy dose of discipline as well, because just four months ago, she unveiled Blood and Sand, the second book in the Elemental
World series. Now, she’s gearing up
to publish The Scribe, the first book in a new series called the
Irin Chronicles.
Every book I’ve read by
Ms. Hunter has been a pager-turner and a winner. One of her many writerly talents is the
ability to build credible worlds ~ worlds that co-exist with ours but that we
remain oblivious to. Which isn’t a huge stretch when you think how isolated we
tend to make ourselves these days.
Her
second talent is or skill is in having excellent editors. In these days of self-publishing and
auto-correct, my eyes have been stabbed by one too many spelling and grammatical
errors in the ebooks I buy. I can’t
recall a single error in any of Ms. Hunter’s books.
And I usually recall glaring errors with the
memory of a supernatural being.
Based solely on past
reading experience and the synopsis below, the October publish date can’t come
soon enough.
Publish Date: October 2013 |
